What to Bring to Your First Visit
When you arrive to our office, you will be asked to fill out registration paperwork. This will provide us with important information so we can establish your dental records. To deliver optimal care, there are a few things we recommend bringing to your first appointment:
- Your current dental insurance card
- Any x-rays or scans taken by a previous dentist
- Referral slips or records from other doctors
- A complete list of medications and supplements you are currently taking
- A parent or legal guardian if you are under the age of 18
- A list of questions you may have regarding your dental care or treatment
What to Expect During Your First Appointment
Before we recommend any treatment, Dr. Bridges will review your medical history in detail and perform a thorough oral assessment. This may include x-rays, scans, a cavity check, periodontal charting, an oral cancer screening, and more. In order to provide accurate care, we must obtain a comprehensive understanding of your current oral health. After a complete evaluation, Dr. Bridges will design a fully personalized treatment plan based on your unique needs and goals.
Our fees for service are based on the extensiveness and complexity of your condition. Because each patient has a unique set of needs, cost can vary for each individual. Charges may also be affected by your dental insurance guidelines. We believe in cost transparency. Changes to Your Appointment Time
Your time is valuable to us. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will be unable to keep your appointment. A team member will happily assist you in rescheduling.
